Senior year of high school can bring fear and uncertainty for students. From college applications to pondering the future, leaving the childhood years behind can be a hard pill to swallow. Cold Spring Harbor High School Senior Zoe Abelson feels the pressure of her last year in high school, though she is confident in her plans and eager to share her stage talents with the world.

For the last decade, Abelson has dazzled audiences at Long Island’s top theaters, performing in musicals and plays at Cold Spring Harbor High School and in regional theaters across Nassau and Suffolk counties. Abelson also serves as a leader in the theater community, holding a state officer position for the International Thespian Honor Society’s New York chapter.

WRHU’s Gabrielle Yanovitz interviews rising theater star Zoe, a Cold Spring Harbor High School senior:

Abelson plans to major in drama or musical theater in college and has been applying to colleges nationwide. Her passion for performing has long been at the heart of everything she sets her mind to. She recognizes the enormous dedication it takes to succeed in this career and is working to turn her dreams into a reality.
