The League of Yes is an East Meadow-based baseball league designed for people of all ages with disabilities. Players are paired up with buddies who assist them with batting, running the bases and playing the field. The league recently had some special guests serve as buddies: members of the St. John’s University baseball squad. There to report was Long Island Advocate Sports Editor Yaw Bonsu.
