Long Island’s Safe Center aids domestic violence victims, survivors

In the Town of Oyster Bay, the non-profit Safe Center LI has been helping domestic violence victims and survivors since 2014, responding to nearly 6,200 hotline calls last year. This year, the center celebrated 10 years of being open. WRHU reporter Amanda Mechell sat down with Lorraine DiFiglia, its director of education and learning, to highlight some of its accomplishments. Listen to the interview:
