Today is election day and many Hofstra clubs and organizations are reaching out to students to motivate them to go out and vote.
WRHU sat down with Mohammad Ariann, President of Hofstra Republicans, and Rayhan Dadkhah, Vice President of the Hofstra Democrats, who along with their respective clubs are working hard every week to motivate students and voters to attend workshops to get involved in politics.

“What I’ve learned is that most people don’t vote in the midterms and most people are still concerned about affordability no matter who is president,” said Mohammad who is out in the community knocking on doors every other week to convince people to vote for their favorite candidates.

“That’s our main focus for students and young voters to get involved in politics and understand what’s going on around them because realistically whether we like it or not, politics affects everything around us,” said Rayhan.
